Oral Biology & Tooth Morphology

Oral Biology & Tooth Morphology

Oral Biology is concerned with the study of origin and nature of the oral and craniofacial tissues and with the application of basic scientific knowledge to oral tissues in health and disease.  By its nature, oral biology overlaps the basic medical sciences and clinical dental sciences.

Tooth morphology is a part of oral biology which involves the teaching of shape and morphological aspects of each tooth individually.  The students are given in-depth knowledge and understanding of the subject which enables them to provide best clinical service to the patients in the future.
